Consider this....

The message below is well worth reading. It was forwarded by Steve Lightfoot, an Atlanta native and UGA physics graduate, twice recognized as the USAF's top weapon systems engineer.
He is currently with the DOD serving as Project Director for the development of JASSM, our country's new stealth cruise missile. One of the "brilliant" weapons you will likely be hearing more about in the very near future.
He and the members of his team are just a few examples of the many thousands of dedicated people in this country who are tasked to exact the justice our nation now seeks.
Please remember to pray for all the people, and their families, charged with the awesome task ahead.

Original Message:

I am not trying to downplay the tragedy in New York and Washington, nor diminish in any fashion the losses to thousands of families, however we have more to be grateful for than most realize. Just as Pearl Harbor was a military failure for Japan, (their principle target was the aircraft carriers, which turned out not to be in harbor that morning, and ultimately led to the loss of the war for Japan), this attack on our country may have been largely a failure as well.

Consider this:

Had the two jetliners hit the towers in the lower 25% of the
buildings, it would have fallen sooner and trapped many more persons above and on the ground with no path to safety. As it was, many were able to escape that would have otherwise died. In addition, the buildings would have toppled as a tree falling in the forest, taking out more building and people as well. We could have very well seen a domino effect of buildings falling and certainly the crushing of many more buildings with loss of life measured in the hundreds of thousands.

Considering the first plane's trajectory, had the buildings toppled in this manner, the Federal Reserve Bank below would have been destroyed. A great deal of the international gold reserves are kept in this bank as well as key banking functions. International banking would have been dealt a serious blow, possibly rendering the entire international financial community powerless.

Had the plane that hit the Pentagon been just a few feet higher in altitude (perhaps a little as 25 feet) and hit into the center of the Pentagon, rather than the outer edge, it would have destroyed the A and B rings where all the Joint Chief's of Staff's offices and all high ranking military officials were situated. In one quick blow, the governing body of our military would have ceased to exist and
the most powerful military in the world would be without effective leadership.

Had the two or three heroic men in the fourth plane not tried to overcome the hijacking crew and ultimately lead to the plane's crash, it may have very well made it 's target. In time I think we will find that to have been the Capital building (not the White House). Congress was in session and this plane could have obliterated most of our legislators.

Now consider this:

International gold reserves destroyed, International Banking rendered impotent, the financial center of this country destroyed (not merely crippled), Military and federal government leadership gone...what would we have? I shudder to think.

So when you hear someone ask: "How could God allow this?" --consider what could have been !
