In the practice of law for thirty-eight years in the Circuit and
County courts in the counties of Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
Practice consists of approximately 60 percent automobile liability
and insurance law cases, including settlement negotiations and trials of
said claims, while acting on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Experience
also lies in other tort or damage actions as well as Workers' Compensation
claims. Has mediated many cases in the past several years.
Participated in many arbitration proceedings as a plaintiff's or
defendant's attorney, as well as an arbitrator, in automobile liability claims
and in other
areas of the law.
The remainder of this law practice consists of all types of commercial,
domestic, corporate, probate, appeal and contract cases, with the exception
of tax law and a few other areas of the law.
Since 1960,
R. Montero
has been the private investigator
for the firm.
Graduated from the University of Miami Law School and became a member
of the Florida Bar in 1956.
After graduating from Law School, was employed as a deputy court
clerk in the Dade County Circuit Court and was a court clerk for approximately
eighteen months during the trials of cases. This experience gave the opportunity
to observe the actual operation of the court, the judges, and the attorneys
appearing at the trials.
